Almost There

Well, I'm almost done with my first year of college. It's been tough. My classes are much more difficult than I anticipated, but I'm surviving. But, I still have a term paper to write and three finals to take.

This year has been so great. God has taught me so many things about myself, about his people, about him. It's been crazy, strengthening, humbling, crappy, beautiful, and so much more. Certainly more than I could write here. Maybe I'll tell you about it sometime. Talk to me, God has taught me to enjoy being with his kids.

One thing I've learned though, is that I have an incredible affinity for bikes. Fridays mean open shop (the cycling club has a shop, and it's open for people to work on they're bikes on Friday afternoons. It's great.) and I always love being there. Being the last one before the summer, we cleaned it up. This entailed cleaning up the shop, finding a puzzle, putting it together, and adhering it to a door. Afterwards, I traded a King of the Mountains hat (from the Tour de France, it's white with red polka dots, just not my style) for a snazzy Brooklyn hat.
